Condensate Drain
In the cooling season, condensation is
collected in a drip pan and exits the heat
pump through the labeled hole outfitted
with a ¾” NPT fitting.
The condensation drain is trapped
internally, so generally, no external p-trap
is required. A drain vent in the condensate
line is required to ensure proper water
flow. Terminate the condensation line into
a nearby floor drain. If a floor drain is not
nearby, a condensate drain pump may be
used.
